Meet Mikaela

Mikaela has started pursuing her career in mental health by coming to Verve to experience the in-office aspect of counseling and mental health. She graduated in 2020 with her Bachelor's in Psychology and is currently attending UNO to obtain her Master's in School Counseling and is expected to graduate in 2025. She plans to even further her education by receiving her LPC license to practice outside of schools. Outside of work and school she loves to go to the movies, take care of her cats, and spend time with her family and friends. is passionate about caring for patients with severe mental illnesses across the lifespan (from ages 5 to 80), anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, personality disorders, and substance use disorders. Her primary role is medication management and helping patients live healthy lives knowing that they can live with mental illness, not in mental illness.
