Cari is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) whose primary role is psychiatric medication management. Cari graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). Prior to this she attended an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program at Nebraska Methodist College where she graduated Summa Kum Laude. 

While in nursing school she also achieved a Grand Prize for Distinguished Academic Writing and was granted access into the Nebraska Methodist College Student Writers’ Honor Society. Additionally, she has been inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. 

Prior to nursing school she achieved a Bachelor of Science (BS) in psychology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Cari worked at Lasting Hope Recovery Center as an adult inpatient psychiatric RN for three years prior to graduating from UNMC with her MSN. She focuses primarily on treating adults (up to age 70) and adolescents. She will also see children ages 6 years and above.
