We all have a story to tell and each story is important and valuable because you are important and valuable, too. It takes a tremendous amount of courage to be open and vulnerable with another human being. Jen strives to develop a working relationship with her clients that will feel comfortable, supportive, and safe.
Jen is a licensed independent mental health practitioner with over 20 years of experience working with mental and emotional health issues across the adult lifespan. She graduated with a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Nebraska in 1996. Jen has a general psychotherapy practice and works with individuals on issues as varied as depression, anxiety, grief, OCD, ADHD, relationships, common life stressors, and personal growth. She also works with couples on growing closer together and developing healthy and effective communication skills.
Jen's special area of interest in working with women who struggle with anxiety and depression during pregnancy and postpartum and young families trying to find their way without losing their minds. Whether you are new to therapy or a therapy veteran, Jen would love to have a conversation with you. Grab a seat on her couch and let’s get started on the path.
