Jim Gross

Jim is an Independently Licensed Mental Health Practitioner in the state of Nebraska. He completed his undergraduate work in Denver, Colorado, and Graduate work in Tucson, AZ. Jim was mentored by progressive practitioners, who demonstrated professionalism through preparation and accountability. As trust lays the foundation for healthy connection with others, it is through relationship healing and change take place. Jim has been a presenter, author, and researcher. He’s a Preferred Provider with Project Harmony as a Trauma-Focused CBT Practitioner. His greatest area of interest remains in the area of trauma.

In Arizona, Jim began working with children and families. The subsequent years he has served adults, individually and as couples. Treatment for those diagnosed with a severe mental illness, mood disorders, anxiety, stress, relational and couples counseling, domestic violence, and more.

Jim practices primarily within a regulation (neurophysiological) framework. This reveals how the external affects the internal, a paradigmatic shift in understanding the behavior is, but the result of what is taking place in the brain/body dynamic. To understand these principles, presents a much more effective approach to resolution in treatment.
