About 

Jen has provided therapy to individuals and families for the past twenty years. She grew up in a single-parent home and, being the middle of eight children, she feels she has a natural ability to help others. Jen holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner specializing in the areas of trauma, grief, life transitions, LGBTQ+ issues, anxiety, depression, relationships and personal growth. Jen’s approach in therapy is to work from a client-centered, strength based and mind/body/spirit perspective.

She uses a variety of treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing and Systems Theory. Jen is a Level 2 trained EMDR provider. She understands that every person is distinctly different, can learn resilience, navigate change.
